The Unknown first “review”

Okay so Word Soup is not exactly a ‘review,’ its more of an editorial guest spot on a blog run by Horror Writer’s Association active member, Patrick Freivald.  However he chose a portion of The Unknown, book 1 in the “Terror Twins” series to dissect to provide a crisp clearer copy.

Superhatural Saturday Night for Nov 9th

In the pursuit of a series on remakes I now fully understand Marcey of supermarcey.com ‘s “Why” column.  This is a tragic remake in a series based on the success of a cult classic.  The original Children of the Corn was an amazing and terrifying dark classic with six sequels and at least one remake that attempts to tear down the success of its predecessor.

Throwback Thursday “John Carpenter’s Halloween”

Interesting morning

As we creep closer to Halloween, This True Tuesday review features an investigation done by Ed and Lorraine Warren prior to the well known events that happened in Long Island, New York at the Amityville House.  The Conjuring is a 2013 movie directed by James Wan of Insidious fame.

Now either in my rush to get this article up so that I could work on completing The Terror Twins novel 1, “The Unknown,” (complete version) several annoying things kept happening while I tried to get supplemental material and checking to see if I had the right URL for Miss Lorraine’s website, http://www.warrens.net which is the New England Society for Psychic Research.  It just seemed like something didn’t want me to get this up……but after an hour I finally have it published and ready to go.

The book pictured below is a biography of the Warrens by Gerald Brittle that former Horror Writer’s Association President and best selling author Deborah Leblanc suggested to me prior to my beginning the Terror Twins.  It sits on the shelf right next to my textbooks including Dr. June M. Pulliam’s Hooked on Horror text book she uses in her class at Louisiana State University.   http://www.examiner.com/review/true-tuesday-the-conjuring

First Sunday Spotlight

The first ever Sunday Spotlight is a day late due to health issues but it is now available at http://www.examiner.com/review/sunday-spotlight-blood-street#sthash.ozU4Ho8g.dpuf

Blood Street by Carl Alves is a fascinating and unique look at the vampire genre.
